This element of the RVM service is the primary link with legal compliance. It is included because of this reason but also because we set results in context with the other risk data we gather before deciding on the most appropriate remedial action.
RVM offer a regular electronic driver licence checking service for fleet operators by cross referencing driver information with the DVLA driver database. Our service enables you to quickly check driver entitlement, restrictions, endorsements, expiry dates, categories, and many other variables.
Uniquely we offer a proactive rectification service that brings a licence back into a compliant state (where possible) without the fleet client having to be involved. We also follow up on notifications of intended prosecutions to check the impact of the court action on the driver’s licence.
With this service, we look to evidence the compliance of our fleet client and to bring instances of noncompliance to the immediate attention of the client/driver. We also look to use check results to produce a more accurate overall driver risk profile as well as identify clues as to poor driving habits that can be remedied.

Licence checking USB’s
RVM understands the sensitivity surrounding licence check data, which is why we work very closely and proactively with drivers to help them remain within the law. An example of how we do this is by liaising with a driver to update an address or decide what to do about an upcoming expiry date. This proactive approach saves time for our clients because we deal with administrative updates rather than simply reporting non-compliance back to the fleet. Additionally, the client can change licence check risk tolerances by logging on to the RVM portal if required.
